Annexure A - Product Care instructions

Annual Inspections

  • Annual inspections are a required condition of this warranty. Annual Coating Inspections by an Authorised Applicator ensures the Revivfy coating product is maintained properly to maximise performance and longevity.
  • Annual Coating Inspections are to be carried out by an Authorised Applicator within 30 days of the anniversary of the coating application or previous Annual Inspection.
  • Vehicle owners are responsible for any costs associated with ensuring the vehicle is suitable for an Annual Coating Inspection.

Automated Car Washes

  • Avoid car washes with brushes as they are overly abrasive and can damage the coating, voiding the warranty.
  • Brush car washes may also contain dirt or debris from previous vehicles that can scratch your coating.
  • Touchless car washes are acceptable, but avoid after-wash “coating” options like “spray-wax,” as they may harm the coating.

Washes

  • Use a pH-neutral car shampoo and the “2 Buckets Wash Method” to prevent scratching the paint.
  • Wash the vehicle semi-monthly to prevent contaminant buildup.
  • Avoid washing in direct sunlight to prevent streaking and water spots. Wash from top to bottom, cleaning heavily contaminated areas last.
  • Use a separate microfibre for wheels to avoid cross-contamination.

Drying

  • Always dry the vehicle with high-quality microfiber towels, avoiding direct sunlight to minimize water spot etching.
  • Never apply pressure when drying; let the towel absorb moisture. Wipe in a linear motion to avoid swirl marks.

Stain and Spot Removal

  • Avoid aggressive or abrasive products to remove stains and spots, as they can damage the coating. Use gentle products and avoid excessive pressure.
  • Clean off bug splatter, tree sap, bird droppings, and other contaminants quickly to minimize staining.

Leather and Fabric Care

  • Clean leather and vinyl surfaces semi-monthly to prevent contaminant buildup.
  • Use a pH-neutral cleaner for these surfaces.
  • Vacuum fabrics and carpets often to prevent buildup.
  • For spills on leather, vinyl, and fabric, wipe off quickly to prevent stains.
